چکیده
Abstract Background Obstructive sleep apnea is a condition characterized by the complete or partial obstruction of upper airway during sleep. This study aimed to compare clinical and polysomnographic characteristics our obstructive patients according their positional non-positional features. Results Two hundred eighty were included in study. One two (36.43%) female, while 178 (63.57%) male. While 88 (31.43%) these defined as patients, 192 (68.57%) patients. The mean age (46.78 ± 9.66) was lower than (50.90 10.96) ( p 0.001). Similarly, body mass index (29.39 3.80) (33.30 6.45) < Neck circumference values (40.36 2.65) compared (43.32 2.54) Sleep based on presence apnea. In duration, efficiency (percentage), duration stage N3, minimum, saturation found be higher nightlong hypopnea index, percentage time with oxygen below 90%, desaturation heart rate, periodic limb movement 0.05). rate severe (7.95%) (53.65%) Conclusion light data, OSA very important presented 31.43% it determined that younger, had less shorter neck circumference. disease
